Flu can be a debilitating, even dangerous illness for some. It can be avoided largely by getting the flu vaccine.
Some groups of patients, the elderly, primary school age children, pregnant mums to be, or some at risk of complications from flu such as severe asthmatic patients will be invited to get their flu vaccine from their GP.
